Does the association have an annual fee/assessment?
Yes.  Every owner is required to pay a yearly assessment imposed by the SCCHA.  These funds are used for common
expenses of the Association.  These expenses are incurred in the administration, management, maintenance, and
opperation of Stone Crest Community.  Currently the annual membership is $150.00.

Failure to pay assessments may result in a lien on the delinquent property and legal action to collect the past due

amounts.  While SCCHA prefers not to take these actions, they are required under the terms of the Declaration.

What does my yearly membership fees or assements pay?
Currently the fees are used for the street security lights, maintenance or mowing of the entrance.  There will be a budget
developed that will outline the yearly operating expene of the Stone Crest Community.  Based on that budget, the yearly
fees may be increased or decreased.  No change can or will take place to the yearly amount until a SCCHA meeting
is held and the new assessment or membership amount is voted on.

Is membership in the SCCHA optional?
No.  Any person who becomes an Owner at Stone Crest Community is automatically a member of the Association.
Membership is mandatory.  It ceases when the person ceases to own a lot in Stone Crest Community.  Every Member
is subject to the requirements of the governing documents.

I bought my property in June, do I have to pay a full years assessment for the first year?
No.  Your yearly assessment is pro-rated starting the first day of the month following the closing date.  Thus, if you
closed on your lot in June 2009, you would owe 6 months assessments (July-December of 2009).  The full amount
will be your resonsibility each year thereafter multiplied by the number of lots that is owned.

I believe a violation of the rules/regulations is taking place, what do I do?
It is very likely that the violation has been reported already to the SCCHA and a letter has been written to the owner in
and effort to correct it.  If you notice any violation, please don't hesitate to contact the SCCHA via the contact page on
this website. Click here for the contact information.
